Gulf Coast Beaches

Arrive at the Tampa International Airport and pick up car hire. You will drive to Clearwater, touted as the ‘Florida’s Best Beach Town’. The crystalline beaches here stretch as far as 2.5 miles along the Gulf of Mexico and are ripe for some adventure by the water. You can enjoy activities like parasailing, surfing and jet skiing. You can also explore Pier 60 and spend a few leisurely hours at the Beach Walk. 

Travel to St Pete’s, a coastal town that brings the best of sun, sand and surf together. You may opt to explore the lush Fort De Soto Park that spreads over 1136 acres and is a fertile ground for picnicking, hiking, bicycling as well as kayaking. Treasure Island is famous for parasailing, snorkelling and swimming whereas Pass-a-Grille Beach boasts waterfront restaurants, dolphin watching opportunities and fishing piers. 

Your journey continues to Sarasota, a beautiful town with historical museums, verdant gardens and golf courses as well as stunning beachside restaurants. Do spend a few sun-kissed hours at white-powdery sand beaches of the award-winning Siesta Key. John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, with 21 galleries that have over 10,000 paintings, sculptures, prints, photographs, decorative arts, is a popular attraction as also the Sarasota Orchestra, popular for hosting Sarasota Music Festival. 

Enjoy your drive to Sanibel Island, famed for its sunsets, lighthouse and beautiful beaches. By far, the most popular activity on Sanibel Island is shelling – you barely can walk a step on the beach without indulging in the so-called "Sanibel Stoop" to search for shells. Head out on a fishing trip, explore miles of biking trails and indulge in fresh seafood on this stunning island paradise. 

Enjoy your drive to Naples. You may make way to Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park, a 166 acre park popular for its pristine beaches as well as diverse flora and fauna. You can also visit the Naples Pier and enjoy glorious sunsets over the Gulf Coast. Don’t leave Naples without visiting 5^th Avenue South, the main shopping street in the town popular for designer fashion boutique shops, gourmet restaurants, upscale fashion and jewellery, spas, one-of-a-kind gifts, artwork, home décor, fine dining, and entertainment. 

Leave Naples for Miami. Drive along Alligator Alley and pass through the expansive Everglades National Park before reaching the sunshine city of Miami for your flight home.
