Elephant Hills Jungle Lake Safari

You will be picked up from your hotel or airport in Phuket, Khao Lak, Krabi or Koh Samui and transferred to Khao Sok National Park, the site of Elephant Hills, Thailand's first luxury tented jungle camp. See life as lived in the southern Thailand en route to the camp. Lunch is served upon arrival in the camp, post which you will take a guided jungle river canoe trip on the Sok River. Admire the stunning limestone mountains, cliffs covered with tropical vegetation as well as the remaining primary rainforests. Return to luxury safari tent, shower and enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Evening entertainment activities are optional to attend. Dinner and overnight stay at in your luxurious tent equipped with a comfortable bed, reading lights, hot water and a western-style toilet. The tents’ doors and windows are covered with mosquito netting as well as canvas flaps.  

Start your day with the exploration of the lake by a long-tail boat. You might be able to spot the rare Asian Ox, Hornbills and hundreds of other tropical birds, various monkey species, amphibians, reptiles and even Tigers and Leopards by the lake as it serves as a primary habitat for animal and bird life in the Elephant Hills. Make a move towards floating Elephant Hills Rainforest Camp and check into your luxury tent well-equipped with all modern luxuries. The camp provides patrons with a sumptuous buffet of Thai dishes, prepared fresh on the property. Set off on the exploration of the jungle on foot. You will discover a wide variety of exotic plants, tropical trees, orchids, palms, ferns and bamboos. You might also be able to spot birds and animals such as hornbills, gibbons, and macaque and leaf monkeys. Return back to the tent in time to catch the glorious sun setting behind the towering limestone mountains after a refreshing dip in the water. Dinner and overnight stay will be at your floating luxury tent where you can hear the sounds of birds till after the dinner.  

Wake up to the surreal sounds of birds and soak in the beauty of mist-covered jungle. You can go for an early-morning swim in the lake or wait till breakfast, post which you will be taking a guided canoe safari on the lake. Explore the lush rainforests and search for hornbill birds on tree tops. After admiring the beauty of your surroundings, have your last lunch at the floating tented camp before you culminate your trip.
