Meet with our representative on the airport and start your journey to Sigiriya which is about 4 hours. Once you check into the hotel, you have the rest of the day to yourself. 

After breakfast, you will proceed for a city tour of Anuradhapura, which will take about 2 hours to reach. This city holds a lot of heritage and history in its heart, spanning over 1300 years with home to as many as 113 kings; known to be the greatest ancient Sri-Lankan city. One of the most beautiful places to visit here is the Sri Maha Bodhi, which is the holy Bo sapling, known to be extracted from the tree under which Lord Buddha achieved enlightenment. There are sacred trails that you can venture and stroll through the 2200 year old place. There are other noteworthy places that you will visit such as the Isuruminiya Rock Tempe as well as the Samadhi Buddha statue, which will educate you about the culture, art and history of this golden period of the Sri Lankan legacy.
Stay overnight in Sigiriya. 

After an early breakfast at the hotel, you will move ahead to see the ruins of Polonnaruwa; it will take about 1.5 hours to reach there. The medieval capital of Sri Lanka, the place was home to crown king Parakramabahu I. The relics from this glorious city of the yesteryear shows the ancient, culture and beliefs of the people of the vicinity. It is a World Heritage site and you will be thrilled to see the stupas, the irrigation canals, the Hindu sculptures and beautiful carvings that adorn the walls of these ruins. The places you should pay close attention to here are the Galviharaya, the Nissankamala council chamber and the Parakramabahu Samudraya, which is known to be an ancient irrigation marvel.
Next, you will travel to Sigiriya and proceed to climb the famous rock fortress, which you will reach in another 1.5 hours.  Here awaits the World Heritage site of Sigiriya and the rock citadel of King Kasyapa to see fine examples of the art and culture in Sri Lanka. Another point of interest here is the Lion Rock that resembles the mythological city of Gods, which is decorated by frescoes and the walls laminated with several metres of graffiti. The adjoining museum depicts the beauty of the Sri Lankan architecture; the likes of the Gupta style paintings found in the Ajanta caves in India. Witness the masterpiece hydraulic system of the yesteryear and relish the picturesque sights on your Sigiriya day trip. 

After you wake up and have breakfast, you proceed to visiting the Rock Cave Temple at Dambulla, which will take approximately 45 minutes. This Iconic Sri Lanka city is known for its magnificent construction of temples, that have paintings and statues which are incredible masterpieces of the fine craftsmanship the country has offered since times immemorial. The giant Buddha statute is a work of art and you will love witnessing it in all its glory.
After this you will move on to Matale, to visit the natural spice garden.
This is majorly an agricultural province and you can spend your time sampling incredible local produce such as rubber, tea, vegetables and spices. Try different types of tea and interact with the local people for a fulfilling Sri Lanka experience.
Concluding this, we drive you to Kandy, which is 1.5 hours away; you check into your hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure.

Have breakfast and proceed to see the Peradeniya Botanical Garden, which is approximately 30 minutes away. It is a national asset in the wonder of Asia, located merely 4 miles from Kandy. Explore these 147 acres of natural splendour, lawns, pavilions, and a conservatory and so on. There is cafeteria where you can take a break. Some of the highlights of this place are the Javan fig tree and the orchid house.
After this, you embark on a city tour of Kandy.
A world heritage site, Kandy, is known to be rich in art, craft, culture and history. You will witness all this first-hand when you walk the streets of this ancient Sri Lankan city. Some of the most beautiful places you will visit here is the temple of the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha.
You will also visit the Kandy City Centre that is home to worldwide brands as well as a hub for local art and crafts.

Today, after breakfast at the hotel, you will proceed to visiting Nuwara Eliya which will take around 2.5 hours. This is the hub for tea plantations in the country and provides the most beautiful sight for visitors, who want to engulf in the peace and calm of the extensive stretches of green, all in preparation to prepare the perfect cup of Ceylon tea!
