Address: Meru National Park kindani, Kenya
Just outside the boundary of Meru National Park, north-east of Mount Kenya, near one of the gates of the park's secure rhino sanctuary, a must-see during a visit to Meru. The owners have long been involved with conservation in Meru National Park.
Rhino River Camp is situated in 60 acres of privately owned wilderness right on the edge of the Meru National Park and it is an excellent base from where to explore Meru National Park, with opportunities to see all of Africa’s “Big Five”. The camp is made up of two forest tents and five riverside tents built from caramel canvas and hardwood and is set on raised wooden platforms from where you can watch the gentle flow of the seasonal Kindani River. This makes your experience at Rhino River Camp truly magical.
