On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be received and transferred to your hotel located close to the Arusha town centre.
 

In the morning, you will enjoy your day at leisure followed by safari briefing and lunch. Afternoon you depart Arusha, passing through the Masai Steppe featuring many scenic African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. In the town of Makuyuni by turning North West, you continue the journey up through a picturesque escarpment that brings you to your lodge, perched on the edge of the Rift Valley, and offering dramatic views stretching over the far-away Lake Manyara. 

After breakfast, there is a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park followed by lunch at the lodge. Departing from Lake Manyara, you continue your journey towards North West across the spectacular hilly countryside of the highlands filled with wheat and coffee plantations. Then you will be lead to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From here onward lie the widespread plains of the Serengeti, where you’ll hopefully start spotting game even before you get into the park Serengeti National Park is famous for the biggest annual migration of the wildebeest.

After breakfast you depart with a picnic lunch for Ngorongoro viewing game across the vast Serengeti plains, stopping en route for lunch. You then continue to your lodge, situated high on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater. 

A highlight awaits you this morning as you depart to explore what is generally referred to as the World’s largest wildlife zoo. After breakfast, you descend with a picnic lunch through the early morning mists, and 2,000 feet into the crater. Ngorongoro Crater, the World’s largest intact volcanic caldera known for its size and diversity, comprises of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. Lunch is served near a small lake filled with hippos. You then continue game viewing before returning to the crater’s rim and your lodge. 

Setting off from Ngorongoro Crater post breakfast, head south east past Lake Manyara and Mto wa Mbu village. Through the highlands and the Karatu district, you can observe the scenic wheat plains and coffee plantations before going down the spectacular escarpment where you turn south on to the main Arusha- Dodoma road and enter the park. From here to the lodge, you’ll enjoy a game drive on the way. After lunch and perhaps a swim, the rest of the afternoon is spent on the game drive. 

Depart after breakfast and head north east to Arusha. You will pass through the Masai Steppe featuring charming African villages as well as maize, coffee and banana plantations. On arrival in Arusha you will be offered lunch followed by transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your international departure.
