  • Day 1 Yangon - Spirit of Myanmar Tour

    Yangon - Spirit of Myanmar Tour

    Upon arrival in Yangon, the capital city of Myanmar, our guide will meet you and give you a welcome packet including the necessary documentation and vouchers as well as contact details of your guide and local offices. Spend the evening discovering the spiritual side of Myanmar. Start with the stunning Shwedagon Pagoda, a gilded stupa, considered to be one of the most sacred Buddhist pagodas. The incense emanating from candles and sticks, the saffron-clad monks and the hordes of devotees invoke a strong sense of spirituality. Your guide will familiarize you with the history, rituals as well as traditions. Do wear trousers or knee-length shorts/skirts or t-shirts with elbow-length sleeves when visiting the pagoda and other temples in the Myanmar. Overnight stay in Yangon. 

  • Day 2 Yangon - Yangon Like a Local (9 hours)

    This day is dedicated to the discovery of Yangon’s local life and unusual attractions in the city. Meet with your guide and take taxi to Yangon's Central Railway Station. Ride a train on the Circular Railway to Kamayut station. Take a trishaw to a local market and pick a longyi (a traditional garment). Sip on flavoured tea, stop for sumptuous snacks at one of the many local restaurants. Chat up with a local on a city bus. Have your meal at Jing Hpaw Myay Kachin Traditional Cuisine restaurant and try sumptuous local delicacies. Go for a rejuvenating foot massage to wear off the tiredness of exploration. Time permitting; explore Sanchaung on foot, a developing area buzzing with activity. Take a taxi to take Kandawgyi Park and enjoy the tranquil setting at this amazing picnic area. Take a taxi back to your hotel with your guide. Overnight stay in Yangon.

    Yangon – Bagan - Colonial Walking Tour of Yangon

    Yangon has many colonial styled buildings from the 19th century, some of them in great shape because of restoration efforts and other dilapidating away with time. Begin your exploration at the Victorian Secretariat Building, also known as the Ministers' Building and follow it up with a visit to the last Armenian Church in Myanmar - St. John the Baptist, located in a tranquil patch of land. A Visit to Gandhi Hill, Post Office, Strand Hotel and the Port Authority building follow. You will explore Yangon Heritage Trust on Pansodan Road, quaint buildings on the Bank Street as well as red and white brick High Court Building with its clock tower, and the elegant Emmanuel Baptist Church on Maha Bandoola Park Road.
    Your day will end with a visit to Maha Bandoola Park, where the major attractions will be Sule Pagoda and the great City Hall. At the end of your tour, take a flight from Yangon to Bagan. Overnight stay in Bagan.

  • Day 4 Bagan - Beauty of Bagan

    Bagan - Beauty of Bagan

    More than 2000 temples and structures, over 800 years old are scattered across the plain of Bagan and today you will learn about the rich history, architecture and prominence of these temples on your tour. You will cover Shwezigon Paya, Gubyaukhyi Temple at Wetkyi-Inn, Ananda Pahto, Gubyaukhyi Temple at Myinkaba, Manuha Temple as well as Shwesandaw Paya on your journey. Among other things, these temples host some very beautiful pagodas, paintings, relics and frescoes significant to the times these temples were constructed. In the evening, you will go for dinner at a local family’s home in the charming Baw Lone Kyun Village in Bagan. Explore the village on your own, and then later learn about the agriculture, history and local life in the village at the home of your hosts. Enjoy a sumptuous Burmese meal and a great time before returning to your hotel. Overnight stay in Bagan.

  • Day 5 Bagan - Mandalay

    Travelling on your way from Bagan to Mandalay by a local vehicle, stop by the quaint village of Shwe Hlaing and enjoy local tea leaf salad and tea. Also, learn about the process of making palm sugar and liquor from the locals. In Mandalay, your day will be dedicated to the exploration of local markets.The area will be buzzing with activity at this moment. Make your way to the flower market next and smell and see an array of exquisite flowers, many of which also used for prayer ceremonies in temples. Next on your list is the vegetable market where you can see the local produce and also visit a nearby monastery. End your day at a local restaurant and relish on Mandalay beer and BBQ dinner. Overnight stay in Mandalay.

  • Day 6 Mandalay - Sightseeing in Amarapura and Mandalay

    Mandalay - Sightseeing in Amarapura and Mandalay

    Start your day by exploring Amarapura, also a former royal capital and your first stop here will be Mahagandayon Monastery. Later, visit the famous U Bein Bridge and enjoy the scenic beauty from here. On your return back to Mandalay, proceed towards Mahamuni Paya Pagoda, covered in 15cm of gold leaf and stop to observe the wearing process of gold-leaf beating en route. Later, visit Shwenandaw Kyaung, or the Golden Teak Monastery and Kyauktawgyi Paya before continuing towards Kuthodaw Paya, known also as "the world's biggest book". The final stop on your journey will be Shwe Kyin Old Monastery. Overnight stay in Mandalay.

  • Day 7 Mandalay

    This day is reserved for a tryst with the local communities of Hsithe, a riverside Burmese village accessible only by boat and devoid of all modern luxuries such electricity, running water, roads or cars.The village relies on tourism to generate a sustainable source of income and you can help by taking home a locally produced craft work as a souvenir. Please be mindful to cover your entire body in loose-fitting clothing while visiting this tropical village and asking for permission before clicking the local families here. Overnight stay in Mandalay.

  • Day 8 Mandalay - Heho - Inle Lake

    Mandalay - Heho - Inle Lake

    Take a flight from Mandalay to Heho from where you will transfer to the Inle Lake by a private vehicle. Stop by Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery on your way to Red Mountain Restaurant and Winery where you can enjoy sightseeing tour of the lush vineyards. At the Nyaung Shwe jetty, start your boat excursion around the Inle Lake including stops at Inn Paw Khone village with local weaving workshops, Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda and blacksmith workshops. Transfer back to your hotel by boat. Overnight at the Inle Lake.

  • Day 9 Inle Lake

    In the morning, take a long-tailed boat along the Inle Lake with your guide to reach Pauk Par Village, an Intha village of wooden stilt houses and learn the art of one-legged rowing (clients who wish to book and participate in this activity will be requested to sign an ICS release form either prior to arrival or on the ground before commencing the tour). For the activity, you will need to change into Shan baggy trousers and a bamboo hat. Enjoy the process of one-legged rowing with the local Intha fisherman and practice rowing for some time. Later, change into dry clothing and meet with an Intha family that will have cup of green tea and some local snacks such as tofu crackers and rice crackers as well as an authentic lunch ready for you. Spend some memorable moments here and return to the local hotel by a long-tail boat. Overnight stay at the Inle Lake.

  • Day 10 Inle Lake-Heho-Yangon

    Enjoy a leisurely boat excursion around the Inle Lake including visits to the enchanting floating gardens, a bustling market, an Intha village around the lake as well as to the Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Inn Paw Khon Village (Lotus and silk weaving villages) and the Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery. Transfer to Heho by a vehicle from where you will take your flight to Yangon. Overnight stay in Yangon.
